Kent football results and summary

Dover Athletic have lost for the fifth time in six games.

They were beaten 3-1 by Weston-super-Mare and now lie eight points behind leaders Newport County.

Elsewhere in Blue Square South, Jamie Day started life as Welling manager with a 3-0 win over FA Cup giant-killers Staines Town.

Day told BBC Radio Kent: "The lads worked really hard. It's just a start but we need to continue the way we played today."

On a day where a number of matches fell foul to the weather, Tonbridge Angels were Kent's only winners in the Ryman League.

Liam Harwood scored with his first touch for the club in their 3-2 victory at Kingstonian, their fourth in a row.

Manager Tommy Warrilow said: "With all the games being called off you can imagine what the conditions were like. It was the wind.

"We took advantage of that in the first half to go 3-1 up and in the second half we got it down and played a bit."

Ramsgate were the only Kent side to avoid defeat in Ryman South as they drew but Chatham and Whitstable lost.

Kent are now down to their last two clubs in the FA Vase. Herne Bay and Erith and Belvedere lost so Faversham Town and Beckenham Town fly the county flag.
