Cotton made two Football League appearances in his first spell at Boston
Midfielder Dan Cotton has left Boston United to rejoin Unibond First Division South side Stamford.
Cotton, 21, returned for a second spell at York Street in the summer after making 52 appearances for the Daniels last season.
But he found his first-team chances limited with eight of his 12 games this season coming as a substitute.
Cotton scored his only goal in the Pilgrims' 4-0 Unibond Premier Division victory at Nantwich Town.
His first spell at Boston was during their final season in the Football League, when he made two appearances after being signed from non-league Blackstones.
