Gateshead goalkeeper Paul Farman has won the Blue Square Premier player of the month award for October.
The 20-year-old has kept four clean sheets in five matches since making his debut for the club in late September.
"It's a nice surprise for Paul but this just goes to show how hard the defence has worked along with the rest of the lads," said manager Ian Bogie
"He needs to keep his feet on the ground now but I'm sure he'll have a big future in the game."
The Blue Square South award went to former Millwall striker Will Hendry who scored five goals in six league matches last month for Maidenhead United.
Mark Danks from Northwich Victoria won the award in the Blue Square North after scoring in all five of his appearances for The Vics including a hat-trick against Chorley in the cup.
