Woking exact Chelmsford revenge

Woking

Woking won 2-0 away at Chelmsford City to avenge their 2-1 defeat earlier in the season.

The Cards took a first-half lead through returning striker Wilfred Domoraud before winger Sam Sloma secured the points in the 70th minute.

Cards boss Graham Baker told BBC Surrey: "Another good, solid, away performance which, to be fair, up until now we've produced all season.

"We continued that today. I thought we ran out comfortable winners."

Baker was delighted to see striker Wilfried Domoraud, who recently re-signed for the club after leaving during the close season, prove his doubters wrong almost immediately in debut number two.

"We know about Wilfried from last season. He has scoring potential, he has pace, he has strength, he has lots to improve in his game.

"There is a lot of potential there, everyone knows that. We'll try and keep him as long as we can. Having not played for four or five months he's put in a great effort."

Woking remain in fourth place in the Blue Square South and are unbeaten on the road this season.
