Rushden & Diamonds eventually triumphed in a nine-goal thriller against Grays.
Matt Pattison put Rushden ahead early on but goals from Glenn Poole and Jack Obersteller either side of the break gave Grays a 2-1 lead.
Lee Tomlin equalised at 2-2 but Kenny Davis restored Grays' advantage two minutes later.
James Reid made it 3-3 just after the hour mark and Anwar Udin put Grays 4-3 up but late goals from Tomlin and Cliff Akurang gave Rushden all three points.
