Altrincham endured their second successive goalless draw in the Blue Square Premier as Crawley Town earned a share of the spoils at Moss Lane.
Crawley keeper Simon Rayner saved from close range to deny Chris Senior in a cagey opening and Nicky Clee and Shaun Densmore also went close for the hosts.
Stuart Coburn parried Charles Ademeno's 12-yard effort and thwarted Adam Quinn as the Red Devils grew in stature.
Rayner then made saves from Dale Johnson and Nicky Clee to seal a point.
