Tubbs joined City in the Southern League Eastern Division
Matthew Tubbs grabbed a hat-trick as Salisbury claimed a thrilling win at Hayes and Yeading.
The hosts led when Esmond James drilled home from 18 yards, but Tubbs' header restored parity before his second goal, from 25 yards out, gave them the lead.
The visitors made it 3-1 when Chris Flood netted from six yards out.
But Scott Fitzgerald converted George Daly's cross to close the gap and Dale Binns fired a 20-yard leveller before Tubbs sealed it from 12 yards.
