Wrexham secured their first away win for five months as a Wes Baynes double earned Dean Saunders' men a comfortable victory at managerless Forest Green.
Visiting striker Marc Williams had a goal disallowed for offside before strike partner Baynes hit a thunderbolt free-kick past keeper Terry Burton.
Baynes added a second after Williams put him through one-on-one.
Keeper Chris Maxwell saved a late Paul Stonehouse shot to ensure Wrexham kept a clean sheet.
Wrexham boss Dean Saunders: "Wes [Baynes] has come in and done what I thought he'd do and I said to him half-time "you can get five here if you want them" and he could have.
"We never killed them off today - we could have scored eight or nine.
"We've got to punish teams - some of the breakaways we had there - you watch Arsenal on the TV and they're goals.
"And I know it's a different standard, but we've got to take a leaf out of their book."
