Northwich make first summer moves

Northwich Victoria

Northwich Victoria have brought in nine new faces after the Football Conference lifted their transfer embargo.

Amongst the new signings are former Bury frontman Jon Newby, ex-Salisbury City captain Ian Herring and Vauxhall Motors goalkeeper James Coates.

They have been joined at the Cheshire based club by Mark Danks, Kyle Clancy, Nat Kerr and Harry Winter.

The Vics will start the new Blue Square North season with a ten point deficit after going into administration.

Completing manager Andy Preece's new signings are Michael O'Conner and Mark Cadwallader.
