Guiseley have confirmed they will play Sunderland's reserve team at Nethermoor on 4 August, kick off 1945 BST.
The Unibond Premier League club believe the game will help replace the money hoped for from a friendly with Leeds.
The League One club have told BBC Radio Leeds that no friendly was arranged, however the Lions say they have the fixture agreed in writing.
Sunderland will field a second string as Steve Bruce's first team are playing in the Amsterdam Tournament.
After Guiseley claimed Leeds had called off a friendly, a club statement had said: "It is with much regret that, due to circumstances beyond our control, GAFC has to announce the cancellation of their prestigious fixture with Leeds United on 3 August.
"Even at this very late stage work is in progress to find an alternative fixture in order to mitigate the effect this disappointing turn of events will have on the club's projected revenue."
