Chelmsford land Ipswich friendly

Non-league football

Chelmsford City have lined-up a pre-season friendly against Ipswich Town at Melbourne Park.

The Clarets are due to host Roy Keane's outfit on Wednesday, 29 July.

Glenn Pennyfather's side open their pre-season schedule with a trip to their FA Cup conquerors from last season, Bury Town, on 11 July.

Other opponents include Stevenage, Southend United, Canvey Island and Witham Town before the Blue Square South season starts on 8 August.
