Cambridge Utd 0-0 Altrincham

Cambridge must settle for a Blue Square Premier play-off place after missing the chance to win the title thanks to drawing with Altrincham.

The Us dominated the first half, but clear-cut chances were at a premium, with Scott Rendell heading the best of them over the top from just two yards.

Stuart Coburn was lively in the Alty goal, doing well to deny Rendell, Jai Reason and Wayne Hatswell.

The U's would have needed to win by four to leapfrog leaders Burton.
