Setanta Shield final

AFC Telford United have targeted a fifth Blue Square Premier scalp to win the Setanta Shield final against Forest Green Rovers.

The Bucks have already seen off Cambridge, Burton, Kettering and Barrow from the division above.

"The Setanta wasn't our first priority, but now we're in the final we're all out to win it," said boss Rob Smith.

"Telford will give us a tough game, but we've beaten some good teams too," countered Rovers chief Jim Harvey.

Rovers overcame Torquay and Oxford, and produced a semi-final win at Ebbsfleet, to reach the final.

Forest Green have home advantage but will field a pared-down side, while Telford striker Danny Carey-Bertram will miss the final against his former club with a leg injury.

Bucks full-back James Meredith begins a two-game suspension.
