Altrincham 2-0 Grays

Altrincham guaranteed their Blue Square Premier survival with a professional win over Grays who are now just two points above the relegation zone.

The visitors made the brighter start but the home side took the lead when Colin Little fired in a left-foot shot after a fine pass from Matt Doughty.

Barry Cogan nearly equalised but his shot was parried by Stuart Coburn.

And the Robins, who missed several fine chances to make it 2-0, did double the lead when Chris Denham's shot flew in.
