Wrexham 0-1 Altrincham

A second-half Greg Young goal ended Wrexham's slim play-off hopes and guaranteed that Altrincham will stay out of the relegation battle.

Keeper Chris Maxwell impressed in place of injured Gunnar Neilsen and Wrexham had efforts cleared off the line.

Matthew Doughty's free kick led to Altrincham's winner, centre-back Young heading in as Maxwell came out vainly.

Wrexham ended with 10 men, Mansour Assoumani sent off on 84 minutes for an off-the-ball punch on Chris Denham.
