Aspin says the win against Solihull gives the team confidence
Harrogate Town kept their Blue Square North play-off hopes alive with a comprehensive display against Solihull Moors on Tuesday.
Neil Aspin's side won 4-0 at the CNG Stadium to move back up the table into seventh place.
Aspin told BBC Radio York: "Weeks ago I was probably thinking that the first thing is to stay in the league.
"Where we've still got a chance of the play-offs then we've got to keep going for it."
Aspin added: "We realise we've got the top teams to play but you don't rule anything out."
"I think the football was excellent, from goalkeeper all the way through the team it was a really good performance.
"I just felt confident coming into the game that after getting a result on Saturday and thought we could put on a good display and the players didn't let me down.
"We played some lovely football. We could have scored more goals and I was really proud of the team."
