Grays 2-1 Altrincham

Grays boosted their survival hopes by seeing off Altrincham.

Chris Senior and Shaun Densmore both went close as the visitors started well but Grays soon threatened through Barry Cogan's speculative effort.

It was Cogan who broke the deadlock in first-half injury time when he smashed the ball home from close range.

James Slabber met Bradley-Hudson Odoi's cross to make it 2-0 before Matthew Doughty's late consolation from the spot after Joe O'Neill was fouled.
