Harrad's deflected shot gave Burton the lead early in the second half

Burton extended their lead at the top of the Blue Square Premier to 17 points as they saw off struggling Barrow.

Burton took the lead on 52 minutes when Shaun Harrad's shot from the edge of the area took a deflection which gave Barrow keeper Alan Martin no chance.

Seven minutes later Keith Gilroy's cross was headed in off the post by Jake Buxton to make it 2-0.

Barrow grabbed a lifeline with 20 minutes to go when Jason Walker curled in a sublime shot from outside the box.
