Mansfield 1-0 Crawley

A first-half volley from debutant Rob Duffy dented Crawley's promotion hopes and lifted Mansfield to 17th place.

Duffy latched on to Nathan Arnold's pass and fired home from 12 yards after 29 minutes to secure the Stags their third win in four league games.

Crawley pressed hard for an equaliser and Steve Fletcher and Simon Weatherstone both had chances.

Jon-Paul Pittman struck the bar late on but a resolute home defence held out for an important victory.
