Welling United took the local bragging rights by beating Bromley 3-1.
Bromley took a first-half lead through Warren McBean, but Charlie Sheringham, Tony Sinclair and Moses Ademola struck after the break.
Welling manager Andy Ford told BBC Radio Kent: "We showed a lot of character. We need to get into that play-off position."
Bromley keeper Gareth Williams added: "Second half we came out and thought we had done enough."
"First half we were great. Every week now we are saying it's because we are not experienced, but it's not good enough."
Welling are now sixth, level on points with the bottom play-off place. Bromley remain 11th. They meet again on Boxing Day.
On Saturday there are five all Kent games in the Ryman Premier Division.
Dover can go 20 points clear at the top if they beat Maidstone United.
It is also the Thanet derby, Ramsgate hosting Margate, each with relegation concerns.
The first ever all-Kent match in Ryman North sees Chatham play Thamesmead Town. And, in Ryman South, Whitstable boss Mark Seager takes his side to his former club Sittingbourne.
Ashford Town welcome their former manager Neil Cugley back with his side Folkestone Invicta.
