Stevenage 3-1 Rushden & D

Steve Morison scored a brace as Stevenage wrapped up a convincing home win over Rushden.

Stevenage piled on the pressure in the first half and Morrison opened the scoring with a right-footed effort.

Lee Boylan added a second after the break when he fired in from 25 yards after collecting Scott Laird's pass.

Morison put the result beyond doubt when he slotted in from 12 yards before Lee Tomlin pulled one back for Rushden with a low strike from 20 yards.
