Loughrey (left) took over as Maidenhead chairwoman in 2005
Maidenhead United chairwoman Una Loughrey has announced she will stand down from the position on 1 December.
Loughrey's husband Peter Griffin, who is currently the club's finance director, will replace her as chairman.
Loughrey said: "I would like to thank (manager) Johnson Hippolyte and all the staff for their support.
"Transferring the chairmanship to Peter will ensure continuity at the club and I am looking forward to remaining on the board."
She added she will also continue to support Maidenhead, who are currently third in Blue Square South, from the terraces.
Loughrey has taken the decision due to the increased commitment she needs to give to her business, Pharmalink Consulting, and her charity, The Link Foundation, which helps disadvantaged families in East Berkshire.
