Hessenthaler's Dover are nine points clear at the top of the Ryman Premier
Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler has played down rumours linking him with the vacant manager's job at Watford.
Following Aidy Boothroyd's departure, the former Hornets player has featured at the top of a fans' poll as to who they would like to take over.
Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent: "I've not spoken to Watford. Obviously there's always going to be speculation about people, especially ex-players.
"It's nice to be linked with it but I'm concentrating on what I'm doing here."
The ex-Gillingham boss, 43, added: "Aidy Boothroyd's gone but as far as I'm concerned I've got to keep focusing on what I'm doing at Dover. I'm loving every minute of it and that's going to continue."
