York 1-2 Torquay

A last-gasp strike from Mark Ellis handed promotion-chasing Torquay a narrow victory over battling York.

The home side kept Torquay at bay in the first half but Roscoe D'Sane drilled the ball in from 18 yards to break the deadlock on 68 minutes.

York got the equaliser they deserved when Mark Greaves headed home Ben Purkiss' cross.

But Ellis denied York the draw, making the most of some good work from Kevin Nicholson to strike on 90 minutes.
