Merritt relishing FA Cup chance

Merritt is looking forward to taking on Eastbourne on Saturday

Oxford City boss Justin Merritt is dreaming of reaching the first round proper of the FA Cup ahead of his side's clash with Eastbourne Borough.

City entertain the Blue Square Premier side in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday, and Merritt is happy for his side to be underdogs.

"I am happy we aren't the favourites," Merritt told BBC Oxford.

"Secretly we will be aiming to be successful and get into the first round. It is every club's dream."
