Richard Dryden is looking forward to a return to the South Coast
Worcester City boss Richard Dryden says they have no fears about Saturday's Blue Square South trip to Havant and Waterlooville.
Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester he feels other clubs will be looking at them as being one of the teams to beat.
"We're scoring goals and creating a lot of chances," said Dryden. "And we're looking solid, which is encouraging.
"There's a lot of football being played in this league and I think it's bringing the best out of our players."
City are again likely to be without the injured Shabir Khan, so midfielder Jamie Price will continue to deputise at left-back.
After a spell at Southampton during his playing days, Dryden is looking forward to returning to the south coast.
And he says that Havant and Waterlooville appear to be making good use of the money they gained from last season's excellent FA Cup run (which included a trip to Anfield).
"They're investing properly and they will want to go up this season," said Dryden, "but so do we, so hopefully it is going to be nip and tuck.
"It'll be nice to go back down to the Southampton area to try and get three points. There's going to be one or two people coming to watch as it's just around the corner."
BBC Hereford and Worcester will have regular updates on City's progress at Havant and Waterlooville as part of Sport on Saturday which will be on air and online from 1400 BST.
