From the Isle of Wight to Wembley

Telford keeper Ryan Young will have a special fan backing him in Saturday's FA Cup tie against Hendon at Wembley.

His father Dale, who lives on the Isle of Wight, catches an early ferry to the mainland every Saturday morning to watch his son play for Telford.

Young told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I don't know why he does it, but I take my hat off to him every week. He's on the half five ferry every Saturday."

Hendon play their home games at Vale Farm, home of Wembley FC.

So Young Snr can proudly say he will actually have the pleasure of seeing his son perform at Wembley in Saturday's third qualifying round tie.

Young added: "I wouldn't be where I am today without him.

"It's the longest drive in the world and most places I have been he's always been there to support me."

Telford will be without defender Carl Rogers who picked up a groin strain in the Bucks' 2-1 Setanta Shield against Solihull on Tuesday night.
