Oxford City manager Justin Merritt says his team are feeling confident ahead of their FA Cup third qualifying round home clash with Chesham.
In their last two games, City held Southern League leaders Farnborough 2-2 and a Craig Faulkner strike gave them a win at high-flying Corby Town.
Merritt told BBC Oxford: "It's not just the results it's been the performances.
"A lot of players have finally got to the pace of the league. Our new additions have also strengthened us."
City beat Tiverton Town in the last round after being reinstated into the FA Cup after a Football Association hearing ruled Bracknell, who beat City in the first qualifying round, fielded an ineligible player.
