Wales youngster Joe Allen enjoyed a dream debut as his 25-yard stunner inspired Wrexham to a 3-1 Blue Square Premier League win over York City.
But new boss Dean Saunders celebrated his second Wrexham victory from the stand after getting sent off late on.
Swansea loanee Allen's goal came after York's Craig Farrell missed a penalty and before captain Neil Taylor's goal.
Ben Wilkinson scored a consolation before Marc Williams secured Wrexham's first back-to-back win for 18 months.
Wrexham: Ward, Baynes, Steve Evans, Mike Williams, Tremarco, Spann (Mackin 79), Allen, Fleming, Taylor, Louis, Marc Williams. Subs Not Used: Anthony Williams, Kempson, Whalley, Proctor.
