York had to settle for a goalless draw with high-flying Cambridge, despite having the better chances.

Simon Rusk, Craig Farrell and Simon Russell all had shots blocked or go wide for the home side as they pressed for a goal in the opening half.

Mark Greaves, Daniel McBreen and Farrell threatened after the break but failed to get the goal York, who were missing striker Onome Sodje, craved.
