Turner maybe back playing within two weeks

AFC Telford United defender Jimmy Turner could be playing football again within two weeks if he comes through an intensive fitness programme.

Turner, 24, who has been out since last last season, is spending the week just up the road at Lilleshall to help him recover from a knee operation.

Bucks assistant manager Larry Chambers said: "If he comes through it, he may be able to start light training.

"He may be able to play football again in two weeks' time."

Turner developed an infection in his knee after having a minor operation during the summer.

The full-back then had a second clean-up operation after he noticed a swelling on his knee.
