Matthew Barnes-Homer's goal just before half-time was enough to give Kidderminster victory over Torquay.

Striker Barnes-Homer striker got in between two defenders to divert Martin Brittain's teasing cross into the bottom corner after a flowing move.

Justin Richards almost added a second when his shot from a tight angle went just past the far post.

The closest Torquay came to scoring was when Adam Bartlett spilled a cross but Kidderminster cleared the danger.
