Khela could be fit in three weeks

Indy Khela
Khela has already had both shoulders pinned

Indy Khela's fears about having to bring his playing career to an end at AFC Telford United have been eased.

The shoulder injury he picked up at Stalybridge on the opening day of the season is not as bad as first thought.

"It's great news - he could be available again in three weeks," boss Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"Indy'll have to work with weights and follow a strengthening programme on his shoulders for the rest of his career - but at least that career is not over."
