Iron start frustrates Patterson

Blue Square South

Braintree Town manager Lee Patterson was left disappointed by their losing start to the Blue Square South season.

The Iron lost 1-0 to Dorchester at Cressing Road, thanks to a goal in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Patterson told BBC Essex: "Every team in the country wants to get off to a good start and we're no different.

"For the first half of the game I thought that was going to be the case, but we lost our way and Dorchester have come in and taken their chance."
