Rushden and Diamonds maintained their promising start to the season as they eased past Ebbsfleet at home.
Andrew Burgess' powerful shot crashed against the bar in the first-half as Diamonds dominated possession.
Luke Moore's well-struck volley was well-saved by Alan Marriott before Sam Smith gave Rushden the lead with a shot into the corner from outside the box.
The hosts wrapped it up when Smith turned provided to head down to Lee Phillips who struck past Lance Cronin.
