Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law has taken his total of summer signings to eight by sealing a deal for ex-Scunthorpe United and York City keeper Tom Evans.
The 31-year-old began his career as a trainee with Sheffield United in August 1995 before moving to Crystal Palace a year later.
He joined Scunthorpe in 1997 and made nearly 300 appearances in nine season with the club.
Evans joined York in 2006 but was released at the end of last season.
