Boston chairman David Newton says he believes the club has a very good case as they have come out of administration two years early, and settled their debts with creditors.
The Football Conference has not received confirmation of Boston United's exit from Administration and/or its CVA....The matter is now in the hands of Boston United
Football Conference statement
United were relegated from the Football League in May 2007, but relegated further to Blue Square North because of the Conference's rules on clubs in administration.
The Conference statement said: "At present the Football Conference has not received confirmation of Boston United's exit from administration and/or its CVA.
"To be eligible for membership of the competition, the club should not have been subject to an insolvency event by the second Saturday in May. All creditors should have been paid in full.
"The Football Conference has been in written contact with the club to advise it of the Board's decision taken on its eligibility for membership. The matter is now in the hands of Boston United."
