Boston debt decision day looming

York Street
Boston officials have struck a deal with Revenue and Customs

Boston United officials are hoping the club will formally come out of administration on Tuesday.

The Pilgrims announced at the end of the season that a deal had been struck to settle their Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA).

The deal, with the club's biggest creditor Revenue and Customs, will be put to a vote at a creditors' meeting in Leeds on Tuesday.

It is expected that the agreement will be accepted.

It is still not clear whether the Football Conference will take any further action against the Pilgrims over the terms of their administration.

Boston officials say they are still in discussions with the Conference over the matter.

The club was relegated from the Football League in May 2007, but further demoted to Blue Square North by the Conference as the terms of the CVA went against the league's rules.
