AFC Telford United have signed prolific 30-year-old striker Terry Fearns on a free transfer from relegated Blue Square Premier side Droylsden.
"When he saw the facilities and what we have at the Bucks Head, it didn't take much to sign him," Telford boss Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"He's what we want, an out-and-out scorer. He's renowned as a 30 or 40-goals-a-season man.
"What's more, his contract was up at Droylsden, so it's a free transfer."
Fearns is Telford's second early post-season signing, following the arrival of Southport midfielder Liam Blakeman.
Meanwhile, Lee Vaughan, Asa Charlton and Carl Rodgers have all agreed new deals at Telford.
Smith said: "They were three of the easier ones. They were five-minute jobs really as they all wanted to stay."
Mattie Wood has been released, while young Elliott Dorrell has been signed for another year but told he will be sent out on loan to gain useful first-team experience.
