Wood signs a new deal with Boston

Teenager Michael Wood has signed a new one-year deal with Boston United.

The 18-year-old defender, a product of the club's youth set-up, made 10 first team appearances last season.

United manager Tommy Taylor told the club's website: "Woody is a great young talent and it was imperative that we secured his signature.

"He was just starting to establish himself when he sustained an injury, but he will get an opportunity to make himself a regular next season".
