Railway sack manager Brockie

Harrogate Railway's Station View ground

Harrogate Railway have decided to relieve Vince Brockie of his role as manager with immediate effect.

Former Leeds United player Brockie had been manager since February last year and guided the club to the second round of this season's FA Cup.

Railway lost 3-2 to Mansfield in front of television cameras at Station View.

A statement on the club's website said Brockie's assistant, Dave Morgan, will be in charge for Saturday's game at home to Newcastle Blue Star.
