Weymouth 1-0 Stevenage

Weymouth boosted their survival hopes with a surprise victory at home against high-flying Stevenage.

The Terras' Tony Bedeau should have done better with a header from close-range, before they went in front six minutes before the interval.

Paolo Vernazza unleashed a stunning shot from distance that left left goalkeeper Alan Julian flailing.

In the second half Stevenage striker Steve Morison was twice denied by Stephen Henderson as Weymouth hung on.
