Grays 2-0 Torquay

Jon Ashton and Danny Kedwell netted to dent Torquay's automatic promotion hopes as they crashed to their first league defeat in eight matches.

The hosts went close in the 20th minute when Jamie Taylor's fierce shot rebounded back off the Torquay post.

Torquay were then denied when Roscoe D'Sane's strike hit the upright.

But Ashton netted Michael Standing's corner just before half-time before Kedwell headed home in injury time for Grays' first league win in five games.
