Lawless grabbed the only goal to boost Rovers' play-off chances
|
Forest Green moved to within four points of a play-off place after a second-half strike from Alex Lawless gave them victory over Crawley.
Stuart Fleetwood and Darren Jones went close for the hosts in the first half, while Crawley's Jon-Paul Pittman had a shot well saved by Ryan Robinson.
After the break Fleetwood had a goal disallowed for offside before Lawless drilled in off the post from 20 yards.
On 88 minutes Chris Giles hit Crawley's best chance over from close range.
