Ebbsfleet marked the start of their new ownership with victory over fellow play-off contenders Burton.
The club's takeover by fans' website MyFootballClub was approved earlier this week and goals from Neil Barrett and John Akinde sealed the points.
Barrett opened the scoring after 13 minutes and the hosts doubled their lead in the 68th minute when Akinde steered past Kevin Poole.
Daryl Clare's late effort proved little consolation for Burton.
