Stevenage missed the chance to move to within three points of Blue Square Premier League leaders Aldershot after Farsley held them to a goalless draw.
Farsley had the better chances, with Damian Reeves clean through in the first half but steering a shot wide.
Mark Arber produced a fine block to again deny Reeves before keeper Alan Julian made a superb save to keep out James Knowles' overhead kick.
