Andy Campbell struck a vital double as strugglers Halifax avoided relegation with a hard-fought win over Stevenage.
Campbell, on his return from a two-game ban, led by example as he was perfectly positioned to drive home from Lewis Killeen's cross for the first.
It was not until the hour mark that Stevenage struck back, as Jon Nurse drilled home Luke Oliver's pass.
But Campbell was on target again for the hosts after 83 minutes to ensure a place in the Conference next season.
