Tamworth 1-1 Southport

John McGrath grabbed an equaliser for Tamworth against Southport as the Conference's bottom two sides drew.

The result was not helpful to either side as they battle to avoid relegation from the Conference.

Taiwo Atieno had hit the post for Tamworth before Carl Baker volleyed in a Mark Duffy cross for Southport.

But Tamworth deservedly drew level when Atieno won a header at the back post and McGrath reacted first to sweep home a crisp half volley from 10 yards.
