York and Dagenham both spurned a host of chances in a goalless draw.

The home side nearly led after two minutes when Steve Davis headed Darren Dunning's corner over the crossbar.

Bryan Stewart fired wide, Daggers keeper Tony Roberts kept out a Dunning effort and York's David Stockdale denied a couple of Chris Moore efforts.

Moore missed a sitter after the break, City substitute Ben Jackson had chances and Jake Leberl and Glen Southam were denied by Stockdale late on.
