Dag & Red 2-0 Aldershot

Tresor Kandol scored twice as Dagenham & Redbridge won to put Aldershot bottom of the Conference on goal difference.

The Shots nearly went ahead when Omari Coleman powerfully fired against the post, but Paul Benson soon set up Kandol to side-foot home the opener.

Daggers keeper Tony Roberts then saved well when Darren Barnard threatened to equalise with a fierce free-kick.

But after the break, a counter-attack saw Craig Mackail-Smith feed Kandol, who rounded keeper Nikki Bull to score.
